The cd ‘Pilgrimage: Mississippi to Memphis’ is a joint project of three young and talented blues musicians: Aynsley Lister, Ian Parker and Erja Lyytinen.

On the initiative of their record label Ruf Records Lister, Parker and Lyytinen were send on a Blues Pilgrimage to the American South in September 2005. At the Mississippi Delta, where the blues is rooted, this cotton country with all it’s magic and history mesmerized the threesome. Their story is captured on the cd ‘Pilgrimage: Mississippi to Memphis’ (2006) as well as on the DVD ‘Blues Caravan – The New Generation’ which was recorded during the opening concert (December 2005) of the Blues Caravan in Cologne for WDR Rockpalast
