Modesty is a virtue! This well-known saying fits American blues-rock guitarist Sonny Hunt to the fullest! Maybe his name doesn’t ring a bell to many, however this great musician, influenced by Jeff Beck, Joe Satriani, Carlos Santana and Eric Johnson, is an all-round guitarist with a broad passion for music.

In The States Sonny Hunt is a very popular session musician because he not only excels on guitar and drums, but also on the bass guitar and keyboards. Amongst the contemporary guitar masters this technically talented musician doesn’t have a problem maintaining his own identity.

In 2005 together with Dutch guitar titan Jan Akkerman Sonny Hunt excelled on the Rapenburg Festival in Leiden, Holland.
