the artist Dutch new blues sensation Leif de Leeuw is only 16 years old. His musical development started at the age of nine. Leif is not just a kid playing the guitar, but he’s a natural talent. In November 2009 Leif attended the Dutch Sena Guitar Awards (until 21 years). He easily got into the Finals by playing Stevie Wonder’s “Cause we’ve ended as Lovers”. He brought the house down! Because of the way he played, his technique, expression and appearance the jury announced him the winner! Leif has formed a fantastic band around him existing of Robbert Blok (singer), Eibe Gerhartl (bass) and blues/rock drummer Han Neijenhuis. The band plays a mix of blues/rock covers and of course own material.
